Basic Policy on Anti-Social Forces
Mitsubishi UFJ Real Estate Asset Management Co., Ltd., a member of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, establishes the following Basic Policy on Anti-Social Forces. We strive to secure the appropriateness and safety of our business operations by ensuring that every executive and employee complies with this Policy.
1. Organizational Response
We will explicitly establish provisions in our code of conduct, internal regulations, etc. to deal with anti-social forces, involving the entire organization, from top management down. We will also ensure the safety of employees dealing with anti-social forces.
2. Collaboration with External Specialized Organizations
We will regularly and actively build close, collaborative relationships with external specialized organizations such as the police, the National Center for Removal of Criminal Organizations, attorneys at law, etc.
3. Severance of All Relations, including Transactions
We will sever all relations, including business relationships, with anti-social forces.
4. Legal Response to Civil and Criminal Matters in Emergencies
We will reject any unjust demands from anti-social forces and, if necessary, take legal action on both civil and criminal fronts.
5. Prohibition of Backdoor Deals and Funding
We will absolutely refrain from engaging in backdoor deals with anti-social forces.
We will never provide funds to anti-social forces.
